Applications can only be made through this website. You are able to save progress and return to your application at any time but you must submit your completed application by 5pm on the final day in order for it to be considered.

Before you start your application, please ensure you have read our Guidance Notes for Applicants. This page provides detailed information on eligibility, funding themes and our full application process, of which the online form represents Stage 1.

If successful in Stage 1, you will be required to present your application in person* at a Stage 2 funding round event. Please ensure your availability on the relevant dates prior to submitting your application.

Band 1 Panel – applications from £1,000 to £4,999

Band 2 Panel – applications from £5,000 to £50,000

* In some circumstances presentations by Skype or other means may be accepted in place of personal attendance at Trustees’ discretion.

Applicants must:

  • Meet and be consistent with the Pobl Trust funding themes – Housing and Homelessness, Learning Disabilities and Mental Health and Building Stronger Communities;
  • Not duplicate existing service provision;
  • Be relevant to the geographic areas which Pobl operates;
  • Not be from an individual, group or organisation that should reasonably expected to fund the proposal themselves;
  • Not be a one off social event unless there is a legacy;
  • Demonstrate direct impact;
  • Demonstrate a clear exit strategy should continuation funding not be possible.

Please be advised that if you do not have a reply within 2 weeks of the funding window closing then your application has not been successful on this occasion.
