Applications are invited from community groups, organisations with projects or initiatives and individuals that will make a difference to people and/or communities where Pobl Group works across Wales and south west England.

The funding window is open from Monday 2nd September 2019 at 9am and will close on Monday 23rd September 2019 at 5pm.

Applications for funding will need to meet at least one of the funding priorities for 2019 and take action on:

  • Rough sleeping
  • Food poverty and hunger
  • Isolation and loneliness

Pobl Trust considers applications once a year. Each funding round considers applications for both small awards up to £1,000 and larger awards up to a maximum of £50,000.

There are three funding bands available:

  • Band 1 – Under £1,000
  • Band 2 – £1,001 – £5,000
  • Band 3 – £5,001 – £50,000

Eligibility – Applicants must:

  • Meet and be consistent with the Pobl Trust funding priorities;
  • Not duplicate existing service provision;
  • Be relevant to the geographic areas which Pobl operates;
  • Not be from an individual, group or organisation that should reasonably expected to fund the proposal themselves;
  • Not be a one-off social event unless there is a legacy;
  • Demonstrate direct impact;
  • Demonstrate a clear exit strategy should continuation funding not be possible.
